Now we’ll see how pioneering companies utilised analytics and data science to innovate through their data and their best analytics practices.
The first 2016 edition laid out the foundation for data-driven innovation and brought light to the macro drivers, the challenges, the implications and the solutions. Whereas, the 2017 edition showcased more practical case studies on “how” and real examples of putting data innovation into practice.
Iiris Lahti, former Development Director – Data Utilization at Sanoma Media Finland will introducing the learnings and best practices of how to utilize data and machine learning in designing digital media services, content, marketing and better customer experiences.
It can’t be stressed enough that if your company wants to do the cool stuff with data like AI, machine learning, analytics, you have to have control over your data in a form of a solid data governance framework. It’s similar to wanting to build a fancy facade on your house, but you haven’t built the foundation – practically impossible.
This week, we focus on our other Chairwoman – Linda Borelius, CEO at Sparks AB. We don’t see Linda first time in this role, she was a Nordic Women and Data Summit Chairwoman last year too. In her opening remarks, she discussed her beginnings and decisions to start a career in data.
